Param Bir Singh is a former Indian police officer of the 1988 Indian Police Service (IPS) batch. He served as the Police Commissioner of Mumbai and the Director General (DG) of the Maharashtra Home Guard. [1] Following the filing of extortion cases against him, he was untraceable, and was declared as absconding by a Mumbai Magistrate Court.
