  2. Cabelas Trade In/Sale Value? : r/guns - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/guns/comments/a3dkki/cabelas_trade_insale_value

Q&A. Add a Comment. EEZander. •. They are going to pay you 2/3rds of what they could retail it for. Not a chance they would give you $300, as they would have to retail the pistol for $450. They will probably offer you a maximum of $200 with a high retail of $300. Source: I’ve done this over 45,000 times. Reply reply.

  3. Experience with selling to Cabelas? : r/guns - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/guns/comments/r93dgg/experience_with_selling_to_cabelas

Find a local forum, marketplace, or a friend to sell it to. They’re gonna take you to the cleaners. Remember that a "fair price" for used gun is the same price they'll sell it for. Which means they'll only pay you like 50% or 60% of that, because they have to turn a profit. I always suggest selling to a friend.

  4. Trading in guns at Cabela's, etc. : r/guns - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/guns/comments/1t6rz5/trading_in_guns_at_cabelas_etc

I used to work at the gun counter @ Cabelas you will get 10-25% less than what the blue book values it. No, but they will not offer you a price you'd be willing to sell for (unless you're desperate for cash). People who sell guns to stores or pawn shops tend to have one thing in common. They're blithering idiots.

ruby_o_o. • 2 yr. ago. This is an old post but I recently sold a few guns at scheels, they are very transparent, they told me before they even saw the guns they’ll do 65% cash or 70% trade of what theyll sell them for, salesman looked my guns over and came back and gave me an offer for each one and told me what they would be listed for on ...

  6. Cabela’s trade value any good? : r/austinguns - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/austinguns/comments/pw0xm6/cabelas_trade_value_any_good

Cabela’s trade value any good? I was in Cabela’s this weekend and was reminded they buy/trade used guns. Before I haul my junk down there, I was curious if anyone had experience trading or selling to them. You won't get top dollar for your trade at a big box store. You're exchanging that for the convenience.

  7. Are prices of used guns in Cabela's gun library negotiable -...

    www.reddit.com/r/guns/comments/13vbb40/are_prices_of_used_guns_in_cabelas_gun...

Yes, but depends on the gun counter manager. Negotiated then down a year ago. 3. Reply. ardesofmiche. • 1 yr. ago. Yes. If their policy is the same or depends on how long the gun has been in inventory. After like 3 months they can drop the price 10% and after 5 months 15% or something like that.

  8. Cabelas selling used guns for price of new : r/guns - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/guns/comments/ac5g0i/cabelas_selling_used_guns_for_price_of_new

First firearm I bought was a used .22 for $100 about 6 years ago at cabelas, came with some free ammo too, but the crotchety salesman removed it from the magazine before sending it home with me. My typical experience at my local Cabelas has been poor for used guns, I've seen several new guns on sale for less than guns in the library.

  9. Cabela's Used Guns : r/WIguns - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/WIguns/comments/10izdhk/cabelas_used_guns

Cabela's Used Guns. Recently I visited the Cabela's in Richfield and was interested in purchasing a used gun. When I asked about any extras and trying out the action, I was told that they could remove the trigger guard, but that they couldn't allow me to pull the trigger. I found this odd, since I can't imagine anyone would buy a used firearm ...

1 ) Sometimes, Dealers get heat from Corporate or the ATF and start being uptight AF. My old DM was that way. 2 ) Any person that is signing off as the primary seller on a 4473 has a legal right to refuse to sell a firearm to any person for any or no reason, without explanation.

  11. Is it worth buying from cabelas or bass bro shop for guns? I ......

    www.reddit.com/r/Firearms/comments/15e2i3b/is_it_worth_buying_from_cabelas_or...

I greatly prefer Scheels or my local ma and pa dealer, much faster, prices are not significantly different, service is much better, guys working there actually know something about guns. I swear Cabela's staffs the gun counter with people who shot grandpa's over-under shotgun 20 years ago and never learned anything about guns since then.
