Rhodes Hall is a Romanesque Revival 9,000-square-foot (840 m 2) house inspired by the Rhineland castles that Rhodes admired on a trip to Europe in the late 1890s. Architect Willis F. The Pinnacle is a 22-story skyscraper in the Buckhead district of Atlanta.Built at the corner of Lenox and Peachtree Roads, construction was finished in 1998. Given that Buckhead is the financial center of both Atlanta and the Southeast, many of the buildings tenants are in the financial sector, including brokerage and consulting firms such as Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.
The program is funded by private donations, CID funding, and a grant from the Woodruff Foundation. While the Streets of Buckhead project went on hold, other developments were moving forward around Peachtree Rd. and Roswell Rd, and so the CID will first improve pedestrian amenities around that area. Completion is targeted for mid-2012.
