Concordia was founded in 1926 as "Lutheran Concordia College of Texas", a four-year high school that prepared young men for careers in ministry and teaching. The school opened with 26 students on its original site along East Avenue (now Interstate 35 ) on the then northern outskirts of Austin, Texas.
The qualifying round of the 2026 World Baseball Classic, officially called the World Baseball Classic 2025 Qualifiers, will be held from February 21 to March 6, 2025. The top four teams in each pool of the 2023 World Baseball Classic automatically qualified for the 2026 tournament.
