Morón is a partido (second level administrative division) of the Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. Located in the Greater Buenos Aires urban area, its head town is Morón which is located around 17 km (11 mi) from Buenos Aires. The provincial subdivision has a population of 319,934 inhabitants [1] in an area of 52 km 2 (20 sq mi).
In 1955 Morón promoted to Primera C, where the team debuted in April 1956, beating Brown de Adrogué 5–3. Deportivo Morón won its second title in 1959, the Primera C championship therefore promoting to Primera B (the second division by then), after winning 28 games with only 2 defeats in 34 matches.
