Ezekiel bread isn't available in Ireland. The closest thing to it is sprouted wheat bread or spelt bread. There isn't a huge difference between the breads only Ezekiel bread is highest in fibre. 11-08-2023, 05:50 AM #12. Halliburt1.
Ezekiel 4:12 refers to bread baked with human dung! Yes that's right: Human ****. Apparently they realized that to fulfill the actual Biblical recipe, they had to introduce this new bread line (probably forced on them by fundamentalists). I suspect they will probably drop the 4:9 bread in favor of this Biblically correct bread.
A FROZEN loaf of Ezekiel 4:9 costs almost $5. I'm not big into the bread.. It's like cardboard, but the english muffins are badass!!! I just hit my local german bakery and get a loaf or 2 of day-old for like $1.50. The reputation of a thousand years may be determined by the conduct of only one hour.

I don't know much about my breads, but when comparing them all, the Arnold's looked pretty good. I've tried their 100% wheat and their "double protein."

I personally really like the taste of Ezekiel bread and use it as a good healthy low glycemic carb source. The only place I have been able to find it here in upstate north east NY is in the frozen foods section of Price Chopper. If you keep it in the refrigerator it will last a long time.. 03-11-2011, 01:24 PM #23.
They say bread goes stale if you put it in the fridge but Ezekiel is a must if you are going to eat it for a week+. ^This. I had a loaf of it that went moldy in the fridge, but it had been in there a while. The loaf I have in the fridge now is going on 4 weeks and still mold free.
