A young ninja in training, Sarada is the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura Uchiha. Her character is first explored in the film Boruto: Naruto the Movie (2015), where she has become a low-ranking ninja (Genin) from the village of Konohagakure and dreams of becoming its leader, the Hokage.
At that time, Boruto becomes a member of a ninja team led by Naruto's protégé Konohamaru Sarutobi, alongside Sarada Uchiha, the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura Uchiha, and Mitsuki, Orochimaru's artificial son.
Sasuke finds Sarada, who was not affected by the memory swap, begging her father to rescue Boruto, so he decides to trust his daughter over his own fake memories, and saves Boruto from the village. The two, seen as traitors, depart the village and train, and after a year, are attacked by Code and his army of Ten Tails clones.
Boruto was first announced in December 2014 by a post-credits scene in The Last: Naruto the Movie. Kishimoto stated the film would star the son of Naruto and Hinata, Boruto Uzumaki, as well as Sasuke daughter, Sarada. While not knowing what the film would be about, voice actress Junko Takeuchi was pleased with the announcement. [7]
