Southlands College is a girls' school located in Galle, Sri Lanka, founded in 1885 by the Wesleyan Methodist missionaries. Southlands College is situated within the historical Galle fort. Southlands College is the premier Girls school in Southern Sri Lanka. It was started during the British rule in 1885. Lucy Vanderstraaten was the first principal.

Seethadevi Girls' College (Sinhala: සීතාදේවි බාලිකා විද්යාලය) is a girls' school in Kandy, Sri Lanka. M. D. Kamalawathi was the first principal of the girls' college. [1] It is a provincial school funded by the central government providing primary and secondary education. [2] [3]
Pushpadana Girls' College is situated within the historical city of Kandy. Pushpadana Girls' College was established to give English education to Buddhist girls. The first principal was Chlora Dias Wijetilleke, the Chairman of the Sri Pushpadana Society. The school commenced with six staff and three students.

St. Cecilia's Girls' College (also known as St. Cecilia's Girls' Maha Vidyalayam or St. Cecilia's Convent) is a national school in Batticaloa, Sri Lanka. [1] It was founded in 1876 by Rev. Francis Xavier. In the year 1910, it was registered as an English school. The school was handed over to the Apostolic Carmel sisters in 1922.
In 1873, the need for a school in connection with Wesleyan Mission work was urged by Rev. S. Langdon and so a Day and Boarding school was built in Katukele, Kandy Sri Lanka. The school was opened in 1879 at the Wesleyan school chapel adjoining the Girls' Boarding School, Katukele-Kandy, under the management of Mrs Langdon.
