The Unified Inbox displays all your emails in one place instead of separate New Mail and Old Mail folders. Emails in the Unified Inbox are listed by date, with the latest message on top. Switch inbox style on desktop
Change any of the following settings, then click Save to finalize your selection: • Inbox Style Select what type of inbox you want. • Mail Away Message Create and enable away messages. • Contacts Choose how you want your Contacts displayed and sorted. • New Mail Select the sound you want played when new email arrives.
The problem could be caused by server delays due to a lot of people accessing their email at once. Usually this is resolved in just a few minutes. Be aware, if the picture was sent in an unsupported file format, such as TIFF, you may not be able to view it. Ask the sender to resend the picture using JPG or GIF file format. Check the attachments
Unfortunately, the ability to sort by "From," "Subject," or "Date" is no longer supported if you use the New/Old style of inbox. If you want to sort your messages this way, switch to the Unified Inbox style.

AOL.com email users - Read our help article for AOL.com port and server settings. To send and receive AOL email via a 3rd party email client, you'll need to manually configure the servers and port numbers with supported AOL Mail info. If you access AOL Mail through mail.aol.com or the AOL app you don't need to make any changes to your settings.
