The planned extension of the toll road, Serpong–Balaraja Toll Road will also cross West BSD and link the city to Balaraja in Tangerang Regency and is set to open in June 2022. The Kunciran–Serpong Toll Road, part of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road 2, also links the township to Tangerang, Depok and other metropolitan areas in Greater Jakarta.

Tangerang (Sundanese: ᮒᮍᮨᮛᮀ, Indonesian pronunciation: [taˈŋəɾaŋ]) is the city with the largest population in the province of Banten, Indonesia.Located on the western border of Jakarta, it is the sixth largest city proper in the nation (excluding Jakarta, which is classed as a province containing five administrative cities and one regency).
Tangerang District is an administrative district of Tangerang City, in Banten Province of Indonesia, on the island of Java. It covers an area of 15.79 km 2 , and had a population of 126,244 at the 2010 Census [ 2 ] and 153,859 at the 2020 Census; [ 3 ] the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 165,575.

[3] It covers an area of 28.27 km 2 , and had a population of 137,212 at the 2010 Census [ 4 ] and 154,744 at the 2020 Census; [ 5 ] the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 163,451. [ 6 ]
Kangar existed from about 350 years ago, that is since 1653 when Kota Sena was built as the administrative centre for the 14th Sultan of Kedah, Sultan Muhyiddin Mansor Shah. Kangar was then a land port or pengkalan where boats and tongkangs anchor at the confluence of Perlis River, which runs through Kangar town to Kuala Perlis .
It is the most westerly district of the city, and is surrounded by Tangerang Regency on its north, west and south sides. It covers an area of 14.41 km 2 , and had a population of 120,216 at the 2010 Census [ 2 ] and 102,053 at the 2020 Census; [ 3 ] the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 107,510.
