Arya 2 or Aarya 2 is a 2009 Indian Telugu-language romantic action film written and directed by Sukumar. Produced by Aditya Babu and B. V. S. N. Prasad under the Aditya Arts banner. The film stars Allu Arjun , Navdeep , and Kajal Aggarwal . with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad .
The film was co-produced by Action Cut Entertainment. The film features Bengali actors Ankush Hazra, Subhashree Ganguly and Vikram Chatterjee in the lead roles. [2] A co-production of India and Bangladesh, it is an official remake of the 2009 Telugu-language film Arya 2. The music for the film was composed by Savvy Gupta, Hridoy Khan and Akassh.
Aarya was initially slated to release on 29 March 2020, [3] but was postponed due to delay in post-production work. It was released on Disney+ Hotstar on 19 June 2020. [ 4 ] The series marked the comeback of Sushmita Sen, as well as her digital debut.
Neil Armstrong in the i newspaper praised the performance of Arya and described it as a "silly but enjoyable action thriller". [13] Adam Sweeting for The Arts Desk gave the show four stars and praised "strong work from Arya and Jallab" but felt that "the show’s major calling card is Sean Harris".
It stars Arya and Tamannaah Bhatia as the lead roles alongside Santhanam and Muktha in supporting roles. Arya produced the film through his studio The Show People, associating with Prasad V Potluri's PVP cinema. The soundtrack was composed by D. Imman. Nirav Shah and Vivek Harshan handled cinematography and editing, respectively.
