Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, formerly Indraprastha University (IP or IPU), is a state university located in Dwarka, Delhi, India.The university is organized around fourteen university schools and three university centers that focus on programs in law, medicine, technology, education, entrepreneurship, science and business.

It is a private college, affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). [1] It has seven different schools/departments. The college admits students in the different schools based on their performance in the IPU common entrance test for the respective course.
In the same year, its name was changed to "National Thermal Power Corporation Limited". In 1983, NTPC began commercial operations and earned profits of INR 4.5 crores in FY 1982–83. By the end of 1985, it had achieved power generation capacity of 2000 MW. In 1986, it completed synchronisation of its first 500 MW unit at Singrauli.
Badarpur Thermal Power Station was a Power Station located at Badarpur area in NCT Delhi.The power plant was one of the coal based power plants of NTPC.The National Power Training Institute (NPTI) for North India Region under Ministry of Power, Government of India was established at Badarpur in 1974, within the Badarpur Thermal power plant (BTPS) complex.
