Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, formerly Indraprastha University (IP or IPU), is a state university located in Dwarka, Delhi, India.The university is organized around fourteen university schools and three university centers that focus on programs in law, medicine, technology, education, entrepreneurship, science and business.
The other options include joining polytechnic for a three-year course of diploma in engineering and then further pursuing degree in engineering. After completing SSLC there is an option of joining vocational education courses. SSLC (or equivalent) is required nowadays to obtain a passport under Indian government for employment purposes.

It is a private college, affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). [1] It has seven different schools/departments. The college admits students in the different schools based on their performance in the IPU common entrance test for the respective course.

The college is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) and offers courses BBA(G), BBA(B&I), BCA, BTECH, BCOM, B.Ed., running in morning and evening shifts. It is one of the top colleges of GGSIPU and is generally ranked in top 10 colleges for its programmes like BBA and B.COM in Times of India and other published media.
In the same year, its name was changed to "National Thermal Power Corporation Limited". In 1983, NTPC began commercial operations and earned profits of INR 4.5 crores in FY 1982–83. By the end of 1985, it had achieved power generation capacity of 2000 MW. In 1986, it completed synchronisation of its first 500 MW unit at Singrauli.
