I was a little intimidated once I un-boxed it & looked at my table saw, as NONE of the holes lined up! Instead of just packing it back up & sending it ...

Replacement fence for Craftsman 10" Table Saw. I recently got my hands on a Craftsman 10" Benchtop Table Saw (Model #113.221740). The problem is that the original rip fence has long been lost. Most of the parts for this bad boy have been discontinued. Any idea or suggestions for a new fence that will be compatible with the saw without breaking ...

It might pay dividends to look for a used saw that has a Delta T3 fence system on it. My first Delta T-square came to me that way. Clearly there are many others that are ...

Just a quick update, I bought a Delta T3 fence for my old Craftsman 113 table saw. Absolutely love it. I had to drill all new mounting holes for it, but it was worth the extra work. I got it dialed in and it cuts straight cuts exactly the size I set on the gauge. Prior to installing the fence, I stripped the top and sanded down the rust on the ...

The saw rides in what is called a trunnion. The trunnion is mounted to the bottom side of the table in front and in back by 2 black bolts in each location. Loosen the front 2 bolts (picture) and the saw pivots on the back two. Get the blade parallel to the miter slot (how-to’s online), tighten the bolts, you’re done.

Attachments. try to remove the insert that sits in the table in front of the blade before cleaning continuing to work on the table top. that insert is a great aid for aligning cuts, provided it's used as specified in the ridgid OM for that saw. remember to use wet/dry sandpaper with the MS. good luck.

If you are using your right hand to push with, you'll have more "control" with the fence on the right, the "standard". By "control" I mean: 1. forward/away from your body, into the blade. 2. diagonally inwards towards the fence. 3. downward to keep it flat on the table. The "safest" can mean different things.

Table Saw Fence - Left Side of Blade. I have been woodworking almost 40 years. I have had several commercial shops, repaired tons of furniture and built a ship load of furniture. For the life of me, I just cant recall ever using the fence on the left side of the blade. I probably have at some point in time, but just dont remember.

If you want a better contractor style table saw at a very reasonable price, keep a lookout for a Delta Contractor Saw. Good clean ones are listing for $3-400 around here complete with fence, miter gauge, motor, etc. The Delta 34-4__ saws are all about the same.
