Christ the King Catholic Voluntary Academy (formerly Christ The King School) is a mixed Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form located in Arnold, a town in the English ceremonial county of Nottinghamshire. Becket Grammar School was founded in 1929 by two priests (Fr Aidan Kenny and Fr Bede Horwood) from the Order of the Augustinians of the Assumption. The school was for boys only and was based on Wilford Lane, next to the suspension bridge over the River Trent. The Becket School was at that time an independent boys' grammar school.
