Purdue played home games at Ross–Ade Stadium in West Lafayette, Indiana. This was the first season in which Purdue played an 11-game schedule. Every Big Ten team except the Boilermakers and Ohio State added an 11th game for the first time in 1971. The Buckeyes did not play an 11-game slate until 1974.
Gary Ray Bowles (January 25, 1962 – August 22, 2019) [1] was an American serial killer who was executed in 2019 for the murders of six men in 1994. He is sometimes referred to as The I-95 Killer since most of his victims lived close to the Interstate 95 highway.
