The Samuel Smith House and Tannery is a historic residence in the village of Greenfield, Ohio, United States. Built in the 1820s, it has been named a historic site . Greenfield was founded by American Revolution veteran William Robinson Smith, a native of Pennsylvania , in 1812.

Published as a daily since October 1, 1973 (when it was called the Hillsboro Press Gazette), [2] The Times-Gazette traces its history back to a long succession of weekly newspapers covering Hillsboro and Highland County, Ohio, starting with the Hillsborough Gazette, and Highland Advertiser, in 1818. [1]
By 1833, Marlborough had about 50 inhabitants. [5] A post office called Marlborough was established in 1833, the name was changed to Marlboro in 1893, and the post office closed in 1906. [ 6 ]

Statewide, the only other Marlboro Township is located in Delaware County. Marlboro Township was historically also spelled Marlborough. In 1833, Marlborough Township contained three stores, one tannery, and four saw mills. [4]
