The Sindh Health Department is the provincial department that oversees healthcare for the Pakistani province of Sindh. Several are held responsible for running the department including a cabinet minister and health secretary which are members of the Government of Sindh .

Area, Orangi Town etc.) with an estimated population of nearly 1 million. It is the Karachi's 3rd largest government hospital after Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) and Civil Hospital.
The board at that time was also managing another hospital, now called the Saifee Hospital. [2] On May 27, 1978, the board upgraded and converted the facility into a full-fledged general hospital. Thus the Burhani Hospital Trust was established and re-registered on January 13, 2004. [3]
