Waves is an annual cultural festival held at BITS, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa, India to celebrate music, dance and art. [1] [2] It is held over three days, usually during late October or early November. The festival was first held in 2006 [3] with events including dance, drama, literature, comedy, fashion, and music.
Quark is the annual international techno-management festival of BITS Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus. It usually takes place in early February, and has thousands of participants. Launched as a local event in 2006, Quark became a national event in 2008. Since then, Quark has consistently seen participation from colleges across India.
The temple is located at the campus of BITS Pilani Goa at Sancoale. It is built out of white makrana marble. It is built in a Nagara style, and has five shikharas (temple towers). The Saraswati temple, in the BITS Pilani campus, is one of the very few Sarasvati temples built in modern times (see Sharda Temple, Maihar). It is said to be a replica of the Kandariya Mahadeva Temple of Khajuraho; however, it is built of white marble and adorned with not only images of Gods but also of philosophers and scientists. [2]
