Farid Sabry Mansour (Arabic: فريد منصور) (14 August 1933 – 16 September 2012) was an Egyptian businessman who founded PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Egypt. [1] Born to an Austrian Mother and an Egyptian father. He was also a Rotarian, and Chairman of the Quseir Heritage Preservation Society. [2]
In March 2007, police raided PwC's Moscow offices, confiscating documents related to Yukos and charging and convicting PwC of failing to pay 243 million rubles, or $9.4 million, in taxes. Egypt originally was built up around a gristmill which was started there in 1826. [2] A post office called Egypt Mills operated from 1852 until 1857; another post office called Egypt operated from 1883 until 1905. [3] The GEM of Egypt was a large stripping shovel which worked the Egypt Valley coal field.
