Holy Family Academy (HFA) was established on August 20, 1906 as the first Catholic parochial school of Angeles City through the initiative of Fr. Pablo Gamboa and with the assistance of the Board of Directors of the Parochial School in Angeles City composed of Mariano V. Henson, Juan G. Nepomuceno, Sr., Laureano Suarez, Filomeno Leon Y. Santos, Basilio Henson and Jose P. Henson.

It was formerly named Colegio de la Sagrada Familia or Holy Family School, when founded in 1912. On June 30, 1959, the Holy Family School was renamed St. Mary's Academy (SMA). It provides Preparatory, Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary education. It is the only Catholic school in the town of Baliuag, Bulacan.

Holy Angel University (HAU), located in Angeles City, Philippines, was established in June 1933 as Holy Angel Academy (HAA) by Don Juan D. Nepomuceno [3] and Fr. Pedro P. Santos. Initially, it provided Catholic education to 78 high school students and became the first Catholic co-educational high school run by laypersons in the country.
It provides education from pre-school, elementary, secondary, tertiary, to graduate level. The alumnae and present students of this school include daughters and granddaughters of Presidents, industrialists, politicians, actors/actresses and prominent figures in the Philippines. [1] [2] [3]
