JioPhone is a feature phone marketed by Jio which runs the KaiOS operating system. It supports 4G LTE network and comes with KaiOS.It was announced on 21 July 2017 during Reliance Industries' annual general meeting of that year [1] and released in August 2017.
The phone's sales commenced on 7 July 2023, and Reliance Jio aims to eliminate 2G technology from India through the widespread adoption of this device. The Jio Bharat Phone is specifically targeted towards individuals who are unable to afford expensive smartphones but still rely on basic features.
