The Dogwood Invitational is an amateur golf championship played annually at Druid Hills Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia. Established in 1941, the goal of the Dogwood is to promote the game of amateur golf and support junior golf organizations. The tournament is run by The Dogwood Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.

In 2003 the golf course underwent a major rehabilitation. The club hosts the Dogwood Invitational, [7] a top ten men's amateur golf tournament. The original course was designed by Herbert H. Barker in 1912. [1] Subsequent renovations were completed by A. W. Tillinghast in 1935 and Bob Cupp in 2003.
He finished second in that tournament to Dunlap, and began the calendar year with a collegiate victory at the Southwestern Invitational and tying for second at the Dogwood Invitational in Atlanta.
