Wydad Athletic Club (Arabic: نادي الوداد الرياضي, Arabic pronunciation: [naːdiː‿l.widaːd arrːiyːadˤiː]), commonly shortened to just Wydad AC or Wydad, is a Moroccan sports club based in Casablanca.
The 2024–25 season is Wydad Athletic Club's 88th season in existence, their 86th football season and the club's 69th consecutive season in the top flight of Moroccan football.
Founded in 2002, the Wydad women's team achieved their first major success by winning the Moroccan Professional Championship in the 2006–07 season, just five years after their establishment. The club demonstrated consistent competitiveness, finishing as runners-up in both the league and cup during the 2012–13 season. [ 2 ]
