Module:Color contrast ( sandbox) This template returns the color contrast ratio between the two colors provided. It accepts two parameters, which can be a standard RGB hex color code ( #RRGGBB) or a standard HTML color or CSS "orange" (= #FFA500 ). The RGB color model is an additive color model [1] in which the red, green and blue primary colors of light are added together in various ways to reproduce a broad array of colors. The name of the model comes from the initials of the three additive primary colors, red, green, and blue.

In computing, on the X Window System, X11 color names are represented in a simple text file, which maps certain strings to RGB color values.
