First I paid for my subscription from the Newsmax sight. Then I went to newsmax on my roku tv and clicked over to the far left of my screen to the UPDATE CHANNEL, it updated then it wanted me to sign in using the email and password I used to sigh up on the Newsmax sight. That's it I now have Newsmax Plus. I hope this helps.

So we have to pay for Newsmax plus a Roku subscription every month? No thanks! Because we have 3 Roku streaming devices that we use for our 3 TV's and still don't get the new Newsmax as part of having Roku TV apps. In our opinion that should be enough, since we already subscribed and paid $49 for the year upfront of Newsmax as well.

This is a problem on my XiD-P box as well, only for Newsmax. My more expensive DVR box is fine. It first happened a few years ago with a different ancillary X1 box. I traded that box in at that time, and I got a replacement that has worked until a few weeks ago. Now it's happening again, with a different box and different tv.

I have been having the same issue with the newsmax app on roku, but not on all of my roku devices. I have tried going back through the roku home menu and choosing newsmax again, which works sometimes. I have also tried restarting the roku for the particular tv that has the problem, and that works sometimes.

I contacted Comcast & they said I should be getting Newsmax Ch. 1115 because it's on the channel lineup I have. Yet, 1115 is absent from the channel guide. The channel numbers go from 1114 with the very next channel being 1121.
