Piano Roll only available in Fruityt Loops Edition (or above) I created an *.flp file in FL Studio Express using the piano roll. I opened the file today and tried to gain access to the piano roll.

Whenever I attempt to input any loop, sound effect or vocal, it comes up with the message "This feature is only available in the Producer Edition Package". This may not seem like much of a problem, but that is not the main part. The main is, is that I have the Producer Edition, and that it is the edition I primarily use.

I you want to do this exactly as in the video, you have two options: upgrade to producer edition (it's very worth it) or convert the .mp3 to a .wav prior to importing it. Mon Nov 16, 2015 12:27 pm. Unfortunately FL Studio Fruity Edition does not include any Audio Recording features, that would require FL Studio Producer Edition or greater. You do have the option of upgrading directly from our online shop. kind of wish one could undo a purchase or something after a few hours instead of the first time opening.
