Yevade Subramanyam? (transl. Who is Subramanyam?) is a 2015 Indian Telugu-language coming-of-age drama film written and directed by debutant Nag Ashwin.Produced by Priyanka Dutt, and Swapna Dutt, the film stars Nani, Malvika Nair, Vijay Deverakonda (in his acting debut), and Ritu Varma while Krishnam Raju, Nassar, and Kireeti Damaraju play supporting roles.

Nag Ashwin was born on 23 April 1986 in a Telugu family to Jayaram and Jayanthi Reddy, who are both doctors. [3] He has a younger sister, Nikhila, who is also a doctor. Ashwin's mother hails from Visakhapatnam and runs J. J. Hospital, along with his father, in Hyde
Pitta Kathalu (transl. Short stories) is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language anthology drama film consisting of four short film segments, directed by Nag Ashwin, B. V. Nandini Reddy, Tharun Bhascker and Sankalp Reddy.
Ashwin began working on the biopic of Savitri following the release of his directorial debut Yevade Subramanyam (2015). Its principal photography began in May 2017 and ended in March 2018 with filming taking place in Hyderabad, Palakollu, Bangalore, Chennai, Mysore, and Delhi.
On 2 December 2019, Ritu Varma was cast alongside Nani, after having previously collaborated for Yevade Subramanyam (2015). [14] The film marked her return to Telugu films after Kesava (2017), [15] where she was reported to play a village girl in the film. [16] She called it as her "big commercial film". [17]
