John Maler Collier OBE ROI RP (/ ˈ k ɒ l i ər /; 27 January 1850 – 11 April 1934) was a British painter and writer. [1] He painted in the Pre-Raphaelite style, and was one of the most prominent portrait painters of his generation.
Downthesun was formed by bassist Lance "Kuk" Collier and keyboardist Nathan Church, who were in a local Kansas City rap metal band called Canvas. Canvas played a variety of battle-of-the-bands shows in the area, and while they never won, they were able to secure a slot as an opener for Slipknot.
