Blues Funeral is the seventh studio album by American alternative rock musician Mark Lanegan, released on February 6, 2012, on 4AD. [1] The album was recorded with producer Alain Johannes throughout early 2011 and Johannes, as well as other musicians including Greg Dulli , David Catching and Jack Irons , contributed to the recording process. The band then continued billed as the O.V. Wright Band for another 13 years, and toured and performed with other musicians over this time span. These included B.B. King, Little Milton, Bobby Bland, Little Johnny Taylor, and Blues Boy Willie. [10] He is a 2024 inductee to the Blues Foundation's Blues Hall of Fame. [11]

Funeral is the debut studio album by Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire, released on September 14, 2004 by Merge Records. Preliminary recordings for Funeral were made during the course of a week in August 2003 at the Hotel2Tango in Montreal , Quebec , and the recording was completed later that year all in an analogue recording format.
