The Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE; 上海对外经贸大学) is a municipal public university in Songjiang, Shanghai, China. It is affiliated with the City of Shanghai and funded by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. [1] The school was originally founded in 1960.
It was upgraded to Shanghai Business College in 2004 and began full-time general undergraduate education. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] In the 2021 Best Chinese Universities Ranking , among finance and economics universities and colleges in China, Shanghai Business School ranked 4th in Shanghai and 39th nationwide.
The city has many Chinese–foreign joint education institutes , such as the Shanghai University–University of Technology Sydney Business School since 1994, the University of Michigan–Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute since 2006, and New York University Shanghai—the first China–U.S. joint venture university—since 2012.
