Inside, the Hall of Mirrors is noteworthy. This is an oval-shaped hall furnished with Louis XV-style furniture and large mirrors carved by Avoli artist Sebastiano Dugo. Adorning the ceiling of the hall is The Foundation of Neas, a neoclassical fresco by painter Antonio Mazza depicting the foundation of Noto by Sicilian leader Ducetius.
The old site, which is now known as Noto Antica (formerly Noto Vecchio), is on the summit of a lofty hill about 14 km from the modern town and 20 km from the sea-coast: some remains of the ancient amphitheatre, and of a building called a gymnasium, are still visible, and a Greek inscription, which belongs to the time of Hieron II.
Mount Alveria was the original site of the city of Noto. Noto was relocated to a more level site 10 kilometres away after the earthquake of 1693 . The ruins of the old city of Noto, known today as Noto Antica , still remain on a ridge on the mountainside.

It was a "cross between a diner and a traditional restaurant," [1] serving fare described as "American eclectic" cuisine [2] Gullifty's was a Pittsburgh landmark known for its desserts. [ 1 ] The building, located at 1922 Murray Avenue in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh had 2 levels seating 150 diners.
The restaurant quickly became known for its hot dogs and large portions of French fries, although the menu also includes sandwiches, salads and pizza. In 2001, Gourmet Magazine ranked the hot dogs fourth-best in America, [ 5 ] and The New York Times named it to a list of one of the "high spots in a nation of hot-dog heavens" in 2002. [ 6 ]

Gus & Yia-Yia's Iceball Stand, selling fresh popcorn , peanuts , and old-fashioned iceballs (similar to snow cones ) hand-scraped from a block of ice, has been in West Park since 1934.
Bar Marco is a restaurant and bar located in the Strip District of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was named one of the Top 50 Best New Restaurants by Bon Appétit Magazine, [1] and was added to Thrillist’s Top 33 Cocktails Bars in the USA. [2] Since 2013, it has been included on Pittsburgh Magazine's Best Restaurants every year excluding 2016. [3]
