The 17th Oceania Athletics Championships were held from 1 to 7 June 2024 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, Fiji. [ 1 ] It was the third time Fiji had staged the sporting event after hosting the inaugural 1990 edition , and the 2017 edition both at the HFC Bank Stadium (formerly ANZ Stadium) in Suva. [ 2 ]
The all-time Oceania Athletics Championships medal table is the sum of all medals won by OAA member federations, associate members, as well as invited teams from the very first edition till the most recent championships in 2024. All medals counted are based on the official results posted on the Oceania Athletics Association website.
The 2022 Oceania Athletics Championships, the sixteenth edition of the Oceania Athletics Championships, were held in Mackay, North Queensland from June 7–9, 2022. Historically, para events were offered as exhibition events as part of the Oceania Athletics Championships (for senior able-bodied athletes) from 2014 to 2019. Since 2020, the impacts caused by the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in the cancellation of the Area Championships in 2021 and the World Para Athletics Championships in 2022.
