[1] Kelly was educated at Queen's College, Nassau, and McDonogh College Prep School, Baltimore, before training in law at Cambridge University and Middle Temple, London. [2]

David Albert Kelly CBE (March 25, 1932 in Nassau, Bahamas – March 11, 2009 in New York City, New York) was a Bahamian Olympic sailor in the Dragon class. [1] He competed in the 1968 Olympics together with Godfrey Kelly and Roy Ramsay, and finished 16th, and in the 1972 Olympics together with Christopher McKinney and Godfrey Kelly, finishing 19th.

Basil Trevor Kelly CBE (11 May 1930 – 11 August 2003) was a Bahamian former sailor who competed in the 1952 Summer Olympics, in the 1960 Summer Olympics, and in the 1964 Summer Olympics. [1] He placed third at the Snipe World Championship in 1963.
