St. Andrews State Park is a 1,200-acre (4.9 km 2) Florida State Park located three miles (5 km) east of Panama City Beach Florida, off U.S. 98. It is the headquarters of one of the state's five AmeriCorps Florida State Parks chapters.

Mochras (also known in English as Shell Island) is a peninsula lying west of Llanbedr in Gwynedd, Wales.The peninsula was formed after the River Artro was diverted by the Earl of Winchilsea in 1819 from its previous course where it entered the sea to the south of Mochras.
The Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum began with a gift of land from brothers John, Francis, and Sam Bailey in 1990 (in memory of their parents, Frank P. Bailey and Annie Mead Matthews). Malacologist, R. Tucker Abbott, was founding director. The museum building was designed by architect, George "Tutts" Tuttle Jr., from Captiva Island.
