The provisional seven-race calendar was released on 2 November 2023 with all rounds taking place in Australia. [2] The calendar was finalized on 9 May 2024, alongside the announcement of the GT Festival, the first-ever event promoted by SRO Motorsports Australia. [3]
The series ras as part of the Australian Racing Group's SpeedSeries. Initially, the rounds at Sydney Motorsport Park and Mount Panorama Circuit were scheduled to be part of the TCR World Tour , but the rounds were removed from that championship due to logistics issues for teams transporting cars in to the country.
The schedule was originally planned to consist of 15 races over 5 rounds was published on 28 November 2023. [9] The round at Queensland Raceway on 13–14 July was cancelled. Initially, it was intended to be replaced by another round, but no replacement event was ultimately announced.
