Robert Martin Groves (born September 27, 1948) [1] is an American sociologist and expert in survey methodology who has served as interim president of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., since November 2024. He had previously served as the Executive Vice President and Provost of Georgetown since August 2012.
The second director of JPSM, serving from 1996 to 2001 was Robert Groves, who went on to later head the US Census Bureau.
