CSN launched a nightly 30-minute show called Sports Columbus on December 21, 2007. It spotlighted local sports highlights, news, and features of the day from Central Ohio. The show was co-anchored by Ray Crawford and Dionne Miller. Sports Columbus ran live at 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, with scheduled rebroadcasts the following day.
WBNS-TV was the first television station in the Columbus market to debut a news helicopter, "10TV SkyCam" (now "Chopper 10") in 1979, satellite news truck "10TV Skybeam" in 1986 and launch the Ohio News Network in 1997, which shared studio and office space with WBNS until ONN ended on August 31, 2012.
