A post office named Stone Lick was established in 1859. The name was later altered to Stonelick in 1895. However, the post office ceased its operations in 1900. [2] The community derives its name from the nearby Stonelick Creek. [3]

The Stonelick Covered Bridge is located on Stonelick-Williams Corner Road in Clermont County, Ohio, crossing the Stonelick Creek. The one-lane covered bridge was built in 1878. It is 140 feet long and supported using a 12-panel Howe truss .
