Four Wheel Drive is the fourth studio album by Canadian rock band Bachman–Turner Overdrive, released in 1975 (see 1975 in music).It peaked at No. 1 in Canada on the RPM national albums chart on October 4 and again on October 18, 1975 [3] [4] while hitting No. 5 on the U.S. Pop Albums chart.
"Hey You" is a song written by Randy Bachman, and was first recorded by Canadian rock group Bachman–Turner Overdrive (BTO) for their 1975 album Four Wheel Drive. It was the first and more successful of two singles issued from the LP, the second being "Quick Change Artist", which was released in Canada only.
Brady Vercher of Engine 145 gave the song a "thumbs down" rating. His review called the song "four minutes of triviality that declines to say anything more significant than 'I'm a country boy, I've got a 4 wheel drive…'Country Boy' is the kind of rubbish that would be expected from a new artist trying to prove their questionable country credentials rather than a respected veteran of the genre."

After the 2005 disbandment of the band, several of their albums were reissued. The first one to be made available again after the disbandment was Freeways in 2005, followed by Bachman–Turner Overdrive II in 2006 and Four Wheel Drive in 2008. Brave Belt I and Brave Belt II were re-released on a single CD March 17, 2009. [24]
