Tennessee Temple University was a private Christian university in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Temple Baptist Seminary was the university's graduate school of Christian theology, also operating in Chattanooga. The university merged with Piedmont International University in 2015.

Tennessee Temple University and Temple Baptist Seminary were located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The university opened in 1946, followed by the opening of the seminary in 1948. During the 65-year life of the school, it served over 100,000 students.
Tennessee Temple Academy was established in 1951 as a Southern Baptist elementary school that included kindergarten and grades 1 through 5. It enrolled 132 students that year. High school and middle school programs were added in 1971, and the school achieved its peak enrollment of about 1,000 students in 1980. [1]
