The Ardsley Country Club is a country club in the Ardsley-on-Hudson neighborhood of the village of Irvington, New York. It was founded in August 1895 to "cater to industrialists" such as Amzi Barber , J. P. Morgan , John D. and William Rockefeller , and Cornelius Vanderbilt II .
The Ardsley Invitation [1] was a men's and women's tennis tournament founded in June 1916. [2] It was organised by the Ardsley Country Club (f.1895), Ardsley-on-Hudson , United States and played on grass courts and ran until 1939.
