The Wonder Years is an American rock band from Lansdale, Pennsylvania, formed in July 2005.The band currently consists of Dan "Soupy" Campbell (lead vocals), Casey Cavaliere (lead guitar, backing vocals), Matt Brasch (guitar, vocals), Josh Martin (bass, vocals), Nick Steinborn (keyboards, guitar, backing vocals) and Mike Kennedy (drums, percussion).
Daniel Jason "Soupy" Campbell [1] (born January 17, 1986) is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer from Lansdale, Pennsylvania.He is best known as the lead vocalist and songwriter for American pop punk band The Wonder Years, as well as the creator of folk punk project Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties.
On April 21, 2022, the Wonder Years released "Oldest Daughter", their first single since Sister Cities was released four years prior to that and the lead single for a then-untitled album. [5] On May 19, they released "Summer Clothes" as a follow-up single. [6]
The Wonder Years followed up a month later, on March 9, with the release of "Pyramids of Salt", the second and final single leading up to the release of the album. [10] In the days before the album's release, the band held interactive pop-up shops in Chicago and Philadelphia to promote the new release. [11]
The Upsides is the second studio album by American rock band the Wonder Years, released through No Sleep Records and Run For Cover Records on January 26, 2010.The album was recorded with producer Vince Ratti at Skylight Studios in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania.
The Wonder Years' contribution was a cover of the Into It. Over It. track "Anchor". [28] At three of the shows on the tour, the band performed the album in its entirety. [29] In May and June, the band went on tour with The Early November. [30] The group performed two shows in June as part of the Zumiez Couch Tour. [31]

The album is a compilation of all of The Wonder Years recordings prior to the release of The Upsides, with the exception of Get Stoked on It!. The compilation features 18 rare tracks, demos and cover songs. [2] Vocalist Dan Campbell commented that the band "made it a priority to get music to listeners outside of [their albums].
