The Bionic Woman is an American science fiction action-adventure television series created by Kenneth Johnson based on the 1972 novel Cyborg by Martin Caidin and starring Lindsay Wagner, that aired from January 14, 1976, to May 13, 1978.
The series was aired from 1976 to 1978 in three seasons with three television movies produced from 1987 to 1994. The series was a spin-off from The Six Million Dollar Man, where the character of Jaime Sommers (The Bionic Woman) had been introduced in the stories: The Bionic Woman (1975) and The Return of the Bionic Woman (1975).

Lindsay Jean Wagner (born June 22, 1949) [1] is an American actress. Wagner is best known for her leading role in the American science fiction television series The Bionic Woman (1976–1978), in which she portrayed character Jaime Sommers. She first played the role on the series The Six Million Dollar Man.
