Previously the Dinky Toys logo used a sloped Clarendon. Clarendon is still used in the words _CLASSIC COLLECTION_. I suspect this version of the logo is an edited version of a sloped Clarendon. Note how letter weights and proportions are close to Superclarendon Bold Italic -- NOT THE FONT. Suggested font: Superclarendon Bold Italic. #3. Heron2001.

But if you can't edit the letters, just write them. I mean, the logo can be hand-drawn. Draw them, scan them, illustrate in Adobe Illustrator with Trace Image and Gaussian Blur, make them, design them, make an .EOT/ .TTF/ .OTF files with letters and you'r ready.
