Downsized but will downsize stored stuff when delivered. After living without stuff you realize how little you really need. Paying $800 a month for climate controlled storage for all 3 PODS, and it will cost about $10K to have them delivered once we settle on a place. That was about the same monthly cost as a normal storage unit in the area.

I know that i'm supposed to tip, i'm just not sure how much since it's such a small cube, and it really won't take long to unload it. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I used PODS to move from RI to MN, and I was petty pleased. After I put my stuff in the pod they took it back to their storage place and then transferred it over to Brooklyn Park until I put all the finishes on the new home I was having built. All the while if I needed anything out of the pod, I just went to the storage placed and got stuff out.

They figured that even at $2000 per month, (their ground rent is not even close to that), HOA fees they have a home that cost them $295,000 that has a killer view with every amenity known to man and if they live to 85 they will still have money to spare. That kind of thinking is not for me BUT it could be for others.
