    forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/vscode-script-editor-for-rpg-maker-xp...

RGSS Script Editor. Use Visual Studio Code instead of the RPG Maker built-in script editor. This is a VSCode extension that allows you to extract all scripts from the scripts file that RPG Maker uses into individual Ruby files. Once extraction is done, it creates a backup of the original scripts file (Scripts.rxdata, Scripts.rvdata or Scripts ...

I'm using Falcao's pearl abs battle system script on RPG Maker VX Ace and as we well know, enemies are injured using weapons (projectiles) that reduce their HP when projectiles hit it. I want to create an explosive mine (an event that remains on the ground) and that hits the enemy when it... isaias20. Thread. Dec 18, 2021.

  5. Which version of Rpg Maker should i choose?

    forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/which-version-of-rpg-maker-should-i...

Only RMXP and RM2K3 got 3x3 Autotiles. (The other Makers got ways to work around this 2 Obstacles in case it is needed) Besides that VX-Ace is better and MV even superior. But RMMZ is more Powerful, more flexible, more Options and way superior than VX-Ace or RMMV. So i would say the answer to choose, would be the newest RPG Maker, which is RMMZ.

I've created a lot of different resources for RPG Maker VX Ace over the years and I thought it was finally time I start sharing them with the community. Most of what I've created are repaints of resources found within the game itself or carefully crafted new items of existing pieces. As such, all the materials here are available free of use in ...

  9. VX vs. MV? - RPG Maker Forums

    forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/vx-vs-mv.122003

VX is (in most people's opinion) the worst RPG-Maker of all, even the older makers have more advantages to be used than VX) VX Ace was an extreme improvement over VX and can be considered the second-best after MV (although there are quite a number of people who consider RMXP better than RMVXA, that is dependent on personal opinion and if you ...

  10. Deciding between VX ace or XP - RPG Maker Forums

    forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/deciding-between-vx-ace-or-xp.65541

Thanks for the tip Andar, I don't have a steam account but maybe I'll make one. The three big differences: - sprites - you've already indicated you prefer the VX/Ace sprites and tilesets over the XP ones. - mapping - XP gives you COMPLETE control over 3 layers. Ace gives you very limited control over 2 layers.

  11. Is there a guide to ex- and sp-parameters? | RPG Maker Forums

    forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?threads/is-there-a-guide-to-ex-and-sp...

sp-parameters (base of 100): target rate = influences probability of being targeted by enemies (a clumsy algorithm) guard effect = rate at which damage is reduced when "guarding". recovery effect = rate at which healing is applied (higher amount = greater recovery when healed) pharmacology = rate at which the numeric effects of items are applied.
