The Lakes Mall is an enclosed shopping mall in serving the city of Muskegon, Michigan, United States. It is located in Fruitport Township, with a Muskegon mailing address. Opened in 2001, the mall features more than sixty retailers, plus a food court, in 645,677 square feet (59,985.4 m 2) of gross leasable area.

It is 17 miles (27 km) east of Muskegon, the county seat, 9 miles (14 km) north of Coopersville, and 23 miles (37 km) northwest of Grand Rapids. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Ravenna has a total area of 1.19 square miles (3.08 km 2), all of it recorded as land. [1]
The township is in central Muskegon County, north of Muskegon, the county seat, and southeast of Whitehall. U.S. Route 31 crosses the township from northwest to south as a four-lane freeway, with access from Exits 118, 121, and 126. State highway M-120 crosses the east side of the township, passing through the community of Twin Lake.
US 31) is a 9.87-mile-long (15.88 km) business loop running through the Muskegon area. It starts in Norton Shores and an interchange with US 31 as the westward continuation of Interstate 96 (I-96) and continues as a freeway for about a mile (1.5 km) before downgrading to an expressway with Michigan left turns near the Muskegon County Airport .
Muskegon Mall construction began in 1974, and the mall opened for business on March 27, 1976. [3] Created by enclosing three blocks of Western Avenue and building a department store at each end - Sears at one end, and Grand Rapids-based Steketee's at the other - the mall also resulted in the closure of parts of First, Second, and Jefferson streets.
