Downtown Bellevue is the main Eastside hub for both the local transit authority, King County Metro, and Sound Transit, the regional transit system.The Bellevue Transit Center, which serves both Metro and Sound Transit buses, is located in the heart of Downtown Bellevue and is connected to Interstate 405 by NE 6th St. with direct-access "Texas-T" HOV ramps.
Today, the Bellevue Parks and Community Services Department manages more than 2,500 acres (10 km 2) of parks and open spaces, including the Downtown Park and the Bellevue Botanical Garden, as well as several playgrounds, beach parks, and trails. More than 5,500 Bellevue residents participate in volunteer activities through this department annually.

The Bellevue City Hall is a government office building and city hall in Bellevue, Washington. The current city hall, located in Downtown Bellevue , opened in 2006 after the $121 million renovation of a former Qwest data center .
East Main is an at-grade station but lies at the south end of the Downtown Bellevue tunnel. The Bellevue/William O. Lockridge Neighborhood Library was built in 1959 as the Washington Highlands Branch Library, funded under a public works program for the District of Columbia. The building was renamed by the DC Council after it was rebuilt on the original site in 2012.
