Spangler, Pennsylvania was a town, since merged, and former borough that is located in the northwest corner of Cambria County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is nestled in the valley of the West Branch of the Susquehanna River between hills of the Appalachian Mountains of the Eastern United States .
The Metroliner-based Amfleet body was recycled for use in the SPV-2000, a modernized diesel passenger car which was very problematic, as it had only four buyers: (Amtrak, ONCF, Metro-North and Connecticut Department of Transportation) and was prematurely retired within 15 years. The fallout from the SPV-2000 furthered the company's decline.
Manheim is in northern Lancaster County, along Pennsylvania Route 72 (Main Street), 11 miles (18 km) northwest of Lancaster, the county seat, and 13 miles (21 km) south of Lebanon. Pennsylvania Route 772 also passes through the borough, leading east 5 miles (8 km) to Lititz and southwest 7 miles (11 km) to Mount Joy .
